So I'm doing a Zero suit Samus cosplay, and would like an opinion from you guys. I'm clueless on what do to for the piping on the suit (I have the blue jump suit, just gotta add details!). I'm debating whether to sew or paint. Do you think it would look better sewn or painted? And is that dark blue or or a blueish grey for the piping!? I see most Samus cosplayers do dark blue, but I've seen blueish grey as well, so I'm unsure of the exact color I want to use as well. Thanks! :)

I'm planning out a cosplay of Fran from Katekyo Hitman Reborn.  The part I'm stuck at though is his large frog hat.  I was wondering if anyone had done anything similar and could give me some ideas of how to make it or what materials to use.

and need some help. This is the first time I'm making/altering almost all the items myself or with the help of a friend (he's making the gun) so I'm not sure how to go about some things.

Her bracelets/wrist cuffs: I'm not sure if these are intended to be part of her gloves, or it's just the magic of anime physics that keeps them from sliding down her arm, but either way I'm a bit stumped about keeping them in place/constructing them. I was going to buy some thick foam and make the hole in the center slightly smaller then my wrist and cut a c-slit to put them on, would this work? What might be better?

For her boots I'm buying some white gogo boots online and altering them. I'm having a hard time finding ones with a round toe that only go to mid-calf, where could I find some? What kind of paint sticks best to pleather?

Finally, I've bought her bikini top (just a plain black shiney spandex kind  of material one) What could I use to paint the flames that would retain the shine or even add shine to the material?

i'm cosplaying serah from FFXIII for megacon this year and am having trouble in the wig department. any advice for where i could go to buy/commission would be much appreciated! i hope this isn't against the rules in any way!

i'm planning out the construction of this gun holster:



and i'm trying to figure out the best way for that light strip on the side to work out. so far i have only come up with two options.

a. put a strip of blue leds inside a diffuser. the problem i have with this idea is that, even with a good diffuser, it will probably just look like a line of blue dots.

b. make a tube for a blue glowstick to go inside. my problem with this idea is that it really wouldn't show up well in photos, and it probably wouldn't look great.

so how can i get this blue light strip to look good? wiring leds/lights isn't an issue for me, i have a friend who knows everything about that. please, give me ideas! thank you~

Is anyone planning a Cyperous group order in the next few months? I'd organize one myself, but with the hours I work it'd be near impossible for me to get to a post office to mail them out once they came in, and I don't want to just order for myself and spend $30 on shipping. :(

ok you guys I have huge dilemma in my book.

My and boyfriend who is 27 and I am 21 has been together for 2yrs and I adore him. He gives me the world and the only things he wants in return is my love & loyalty which I am happy to give.

This where the brakes are beginning to pump Ive been with him for 2yrs and I have been sexually suppressing myself the whole time. Anyway, Amazon sells mostly pleather and polyester and I was hoping to find something of better quality that's not too hard on the wallet. My boyfriend of over one year is disinterested in sex. Originally, the disinterest was caused by inexperience and performance anxiety. However, after many, many attempts to successfully have sexual intercourse and discussions about his fears/worries, we were finally able to have good sex. This was in the spring. His higher libido only lasted a few months though (late March to July). By August he was already disinterested in sex (not just piv, but ALL forms of sex) again. He constantly tells me how much he loves me, but it makes me think that he is only emotionally interested in me. I am the type of person who values a healthy sex life in a relationship and his lack of interest in sex is causing me to question if he is boyfriend material for me. We have talked about this issue on several occasions, but nothing seems to change. He blames in on his 'low libido' and 'not understanding his own body'. I have encouraged him to practice masturbating as a way for him to become more knowledgeable about his body (since he only masturbated in his junior year of high school/when he was sixteen years old) and/or to seek professional guidance. He seems to listen to my suggestions, but does not act upon them. I am beginning to question his sexuality/maturity since he expresses no interest in having any type of sex.
